Privacy policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026.
This is a courtesy translation. The French version prevails and the service is governed by French law.
This page explains, in plain words, what data the mylovelab.fr site uses, why, for how long, and what your rights are. It applies to the site, the test and the program. In short: your test answers and your program stay in your browser and are never sent to us. The only processing on our side is audience measurement, with your consent, and the contact form.
1. Who is responsible for the processing
The data controller is the site publisher, identified in the legal notice. For any question or request about your data: contact@mylovelab.fr.
2. The test and the program: data that stays with you
The site works without an account and without sign-up. Everything you enter in the test and in the program is saved only in your browser’s local memory (“local storage”), on your device. This information is not sent to our servers, and we have no access to it. It is used only to calculate your results and to personalize the program on your device.
Specifically, your browser may keep: your first name and your partner’s, your dates of birth and the date your relationship began, your test answers and the scores that result (including your attachment style and your profiles), your progress in the program, your answers to the exercises, your favorite memos, the profile photo you can add in the program (resized and saved in your browser, never sent) and your cookie consent. Some of these answers concern your emotional, intimate and sexual life: this is what is called sensitive data. It is precisely the reason why we chose not to store anything on our side.
This information stays on your device until you delete it. To remove it: use the “Delete all my data from this device” button in My profile (the avatar at the top right of the program), the “Retake the test” button on the results page, or clear the site data in your browser settings. On a shared device, remember to delete it after use.
3. Audience measurement: only with your consent
To understand how the site is used and to improve it, we use two audience measurement tools: Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd) and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd). They are loaded only after you consent, through the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, neither tool is loaded and no measurement cookie is set. Your choice, accepted or declined, is kept for 6 months, and then we ask you again. You can change it at any time at the bottom of this page.
These tools collect browsing data: pages viewed, clicks, movements, type of device and browser, approximate country, truncated IP address. Clarity also records browsing sessions as an anonymized “replay”. The test and program areas are masked there, so your answers do not appear in it. Legal basis: your consent. Cookie lifetime: up to 13 months for Google Analytics (_ga cookies), up to 12 months for Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID cookies). These companies may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, failing that, by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. Contact form
If you write to us through the contact page, we process your name or first name, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, the subject, your message and any attachments, for the sole purpose of replying to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the requests sent to us. The form is delivered by the service provider FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards your message to our email address. You can also write to us directly at contact@mylovelab.fr without going through this provider. We keep exchanges for as long as needed to handle your request, then for 12 months at most.
5. Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Like any host, Vercel generates technical logs (IP address, browser, page requested, date) that are necessary for the service to run and stay secure, and are kept for a short time. We do not use these logs to identify you.
6. Podcast players and external links
On the Podcasts page, the Spotify and Apple Podcasts players load only if you click on them. From that click, these services may set their own cookies, according to their own policies. The site also contains links to third-party services (Instagram, a Google form to sign up for the beta, the podcasts’ own sites) that apply their own rules.
7. Age
The test and the program deal with life as a couple, including intimacy. They are meant for people aged at least 15, the age from which a person can consent on their own to the processing of their data in France. The test checks your age at the “date of birth” question and stops below that age. We do not knowingly collect data about children under 15. If you are the parent of a child who may have used the site, write to us.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over the data we process about you, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to set instructions for what happens to your data after your death. For data stored in your browser, you have direct control over it (see section 2). For everything else, write to us at contact@mylovelab.fr. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. It has no database and no login area: there is no password to protect and no customer file that could leak. The best protection for your data remains your own device: lock it, and delete your site data if you lend it out.
10. Changes
This policy may change, for example if we one day add an area with accounts or a paid offer. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the site.
