The test tells you where your relationship stands. The program helps you move it forward. From your scores on the 7 dimensions, MyLoveLab builds a personalized program: every day, a short session of about 8 minutes, chosen for you. No set duration. You go at your own pace, pause whenever you want, and your progress is saved.
A session is a series of short screens: a card explaining a key idea from research, a few questions to place yourself, an exercise or concrete action to try together during the day, and a memo to keep. The memos from completed sessions stay available in your learnings.
Each dimension has 10 levels. A level groups five sessions and ends with a validation quiz that unlocks the next one. Levels follow three phases: understand, practice, co-create. In all, 7 dimensions and 70 levels, with short sessions that follow one another without ever asking more than a few minutes of you.
The same dimensions the test measures, worked on with the tools of couple psychology research: the Gottman method for communication and conflict, Sue Johnson’s emotionally focused therapy for attachment, Gary Chapman’s 5 love languages, Esther Perel’s work on desire, Bodenmann’s dyadic coping for support.
Say what matters without hurting, listen without planning your reply, bring up tense topics without avoiding them.
Spot what makes an argument escalate, take breaks, repair afterward, and get out of scenarios that keep repeating.
Put your desire into words, understand each other’s desire, find closeness again when routine has set in.
Understand your attachment style and your partner’s, ask for and give reassurance.
Clarify what you want to build together and turn it into concrete decisions and projects.
Notice what truly touches your partner and express love in their language rather than yours.
Build solid trust day to day: reliability, transparency, support in hard moments.

Many people look for online couples therapy, couples coaching, or do-it-yourself couples therapy, because seeing someone is expensive, the office is far away, or simply opening the door is already a challenge. The MyLoveLab program is not therapy. It’s what you can do before, or while you wait: understand what’s stuck, and change specific things, day after day.
In practice, it’s a method to strengthen your relationship day to day: exercises to communicate better, tools to repair after an argument, rituals to reconnect as a couple when routine has taken over, and the habits research finds in couples who last. All of it online, at your own pace, solo or together, with no appointment to book.
The program doesn’t exist without your results. It needs your scores on the 7 dimensions to choose where to start, and your first names to adapt the wording. The test takes about 15 minutes, and it’s free and anonymous.
About 8 minutes. One short session a day, chosen for your profile and scores. You can do more if you want, but consistency matters more than quantity.
You can do it solo. The sessions give you concrete actions to try with your partner during the day, without them needing to do anything on MyLoveLab.
The program suggests starting with your most fragile dimension, the one where your test score is lowest. You’re free to choose any dimension you want to work on, and each dimension runs from level 1 to level 10.
Nothing serious. Your progress is saved, and you pick up at the next session whenever you like. There’s no set duration.
Couples therapy, no: it’s done with a professional, ideally together. But you can work on your relationship on your own, and that’s often where it starts. You can follow the program solo: each session gives you one concrete thing to try with your partner, and the other person doesn’t need to sign up.
No. It’s guided support to understand your relationship and help it grow day to day. It replaces neither couples therapy nor individual support when the situation calls for it.
The program does not replace couples therapy.
