Terms of use
Last updated: September 24, 2026.
This is a courtesy translation. The French version prevails and the service is governed by French law.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the mylovelab.fr site, the couple test and the program that goes with it (together, “the service”), published by the person identified in the legal notice (“we”). By using the service, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the service.
2. Access and age
The service is free to use, with no sign-up, for anyone aged at least 15 (the age from which a person can consent on their own to the processing of their data in France). The test and the program deal with life as a couple, including intimacy: the test checks your age at the “date of birth” question and cannot be continued under 15. We may change, suspend or stop all or part of the service, in particular for maintenance, without notice or compensation.
3. What the service is, and what it is not
MyLoveLab offers a test that describes your relationship across seven dimensions and a program of exercises to help it grow, built on research in couple psychology (see the method). It is a tool for information and self-reflection. It is not a diagnosis, medical or psychological advice, or couples therapy, and it does not replace care from a health professional. The results rely on your own answers. They describe how you see your relationship at a given moment and do not predict its future. The score has not been independently validated by scientific studies.
In case of danger or violence, the service is not the right tool. In France, call 17 (or 112), 3919 (domestic violence, free and anonymous) or 3114 (suicide prevention, 24/7). Elsewhere, contact your local emergency number or domestic violence helpline. See also our Toxic relationship page.
4. Your data
Your answers and your progress are saved only in your browser and are not sent to us. The other processing (audience measurement with your consent, contact form) is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service for yourself and in good faith. You may not disrupt how it works, extract its content by automated means, copy or resell it, or use it to assess another person without their knowledge. The test and the program rely on your own answers: you remain the only judge of the decisions you make in your personal life.
6. Intellectual property
The site, its brand, texts, visuals, questionnaire, profiles, program and code are protected by intellectual property law and belong to us or are used under license. Any reproduction, performance or reuse, in whole or in part, without our written permission is prohibited, except for short quotations that credit the source. The podcasts, books and research works cited belong to their respective authors and publishers.
7. Liability
We do everything we can to offer a reliable service and accurate content, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for the decisions you make based on the content of the service, or for indirect damages linked to its use. Third-party content reached through a link or an embedded player (podcasts, social networks) is the responsibility of its publishers.
8. Changes to the service and to the terms
The service is currently free. If a paid offer is ever introduced, it will have its own separate terms of sale, shown before any payment. We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable solution after you have written to us, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules that apply to consumers.
10. Contact
For any question about these terms: contact@mylovelab.fr or the contact page.
