Would you rather, for them

Same dilemmas, but you answer on behalf of your partner.

How it works

  1. 1The first player picks their answer in secret.
  2. 2Pass the phone: the other player has to guess that pick.
  3. 3Two rounds, roles swapped: who knows the other’s tastes best?

For two, on this phone. Nothing is sent, nothing is stored anywhere else.

Same idea as Would you rather, with a twist: the first player picks their answer in secret, and the second has to guess what they picked. A useful gift or a useless but funny one? Being left alone in a bad mood, or gently nudged? When you get it wrong, a question restarts the conversation: “And you, what would you have guessed?”

A game has two rounds, roles swapped, and ends with a score on each side: “Lea knows Max’s tastes 70%, Max knows Lea’s 85%”, a title, and the three preferences of your partner you did not know. The game draws on the 300 dilemmas of Would you rather, plus 100 specific cards where the “right” pick for the other is genuinely uncertain, which makes the guessing interesting.

Both games keep their own memory of seen cards: playing here removes nothing from your next Would you rather games, and vice versa. Three levels, Light, Deep, Spicy, the last behind an 18+ confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from Would you rather?

In Would you rather, each of you answers for yourselves and you compare. Here, one answers for themselves and the other has to guess that answer: it measures how well you know your partner’s tastes, over two rounds.

Are these the same cards?

The game uses the 300 dilemmas of Would you rather plus 100 cards of its own. Seen cards are remembered separately for each game, so one does not empty the other.

How is the score calculated?

One point per correct guess, turned into a percentage for each round, and the average of both as the overall score. No bonus here: every card counts the same.
